Good questions. Clear answers.

Before you set sail.

Who can participate?
Class of 2027 graduates from public schools, private schools and homeschool programs across Acadiana and surrounding communities. Friends and families are welcome, but the graduates are the stars. Graduates must be 18 or older to travel. Families and friends can join, too.
What does the price include?
Your five-night cabin stay; gratuities; included Main Dining Room, buffet and casual dining; select basic drinks in designated dining areas; pools, WaterWorks and complimentary Carnival entertainment. Activities follow ship schedules and age rules. Group coordination and senior programming include the Ultimate Graduation Party, Senior Showdown and The Last Bell.
What costs extra?
Insurance, excursions, specialty dining and beverages, beverage packages, room service charges, Wi-Fi, spa services, professional photo purchases and personal spending are additional. Port transportation, parking and pre-cruise hotels are separate.
How do booking and payments work?
Book with $150, applied toward your package balance. Pay in full or split the remaining balance into four equal payments, paid in full by February 28, 2027. A 3% processing fee applies when setting up the payment plan. Your exact schedule and fee total are provided before authorization.
What are the age and chaperone requirements?
Graduates must be 18 or older to travel. Each cabin made up entirely of travelers ages 18–20 must have an assigned Resident Assistant (RA) age 25 or older, with no more than five graduates per RA. Carnival’s additional age, adult-accompaniment and cabin-placement rules also apply. PKJ coordinates RA assignments with your crew. RA interest ↗
Can I share a cabin with friends?
Tell PKJ your roommate preferences. Rooming depends on cabin occupancy, availability and Carnival age requirements.
How does Senior Quest work?
Senior Quest ’27 is coming soon: photo missions, new friendships and digital passport stamps. Preview only; no entries are recorded.
What travel documents are required?
Contact Promised Keys Journeys to confirm the travel documents required for your party before booking.
What are the cancellation and insurance terms?
You have five days from the date of booking to request a refund. After that five-day period, all payments are non-refundable. To request a cancellation or refund, contact info@promisedkeysjourneys.com. Travel insurance is additional; contact PKJ for insurance terms.
Scholarships, ambassadors and ways to participate
PKJ is committing $3,000 toward three $1,000 graduation scholarships. Request application information when available; an interest request is not an application and does not guarantee eligibility or an award. You can also represent your school as an ambassador, volunteer as a Cruise Resident Assistant, or become a sponsor. Explore Ways to Participate ↗
What should I know about Cozumel port day?
Explore Cozumel, Mexico, on port day and return aboard for more time with your class. Optional excursions cost extra. Your final booking documents provide the complete itinerary and port schedule.
